Abstract
One of the most important and valuable cultural heritages of any nation is the manuscripts and written works left by the ancestors, which reflect the culture and civilization of that nation. Among these treasures, the manuscript of the summary of the chronicles by Mirza Taqi Savajbalaghi, known as Dabir-e-Alam, is one of the surviving books from the Qajar era, which unfortunately has remained unmentioned and no research has been done on it so far. Therefore, the present study aims to introduce this book and show its calligraphy features. The study method is analytical-descriptive and documentary and is based on library studies. The results show that Nazim used the common language of his era, which in some cases, abandoned words and old verb constructions are also observed in its text. A few Turkish words are seen in it. The author has tried to maintain the one-handed writing style as much as possible, although sometimes the writing of a word has not been the same. Also, the combination of words and prefixes and suffixes has a high frequency in the text.
