Islamic Art Studies is a self-financed journal. Since this publication is published by The Institute of Islamic Art Studies, a non-governmental organization that does not receive government funding, it does not receive any open access publication fee (Open Access), and any payment form articles downloaders, the printing costs of the article will also be covered by the association and part of the article's submission. On the other hand, because this journal has benefits for authors and they could obtain education and job improvements by publishing articles. So, they should pay for publishing prices of their articles and it seems fair.
