Abstract
One factor, alongside labor and capital, considered as a source of economic growth and development is the presence of entrepreneurs with driving characteristics such as creativity and innovation. The spread of an entrepreneurial spirit and the training and nurturing of entrepreneurs in society have a favorable effect on economic and social growth; because entrepreneurs, by properly utilizing economic facilities and creating new business opportunities, improve the performance of production and service firms. Therefore, attention to the subject of entrepreneurship is of great importance. Considering the importance of the topic, the present research has undertaken the design and formulation of a model for identifying entrepreneurship opportunities. Based on the findings of the qualitative research phase and the obtained paradigmatic model, a hypothetical model was developed, which includes the variables of: entrepreneurial skills training, consultation, securing financial resources, fundamental infrastructures (cultural-economic-physical-commercial), environmental factors, strategic factors, individual factors (personality traits), cultural factors, initial knowledge, driving forces, social networks, entrepreneurial alertness, individual outcomes, macro outcomes, reforming laws and regulations, entrepreneurial capacity building and empowerment, entrepreneurial incentive system, general facilitating conditions, and general restrictive conditions. Based on the obtained impact coefficients, reforming laws and regulations, macro outcomes, individual factors, consultation, individual outcomes, training (with its impact coefficient), financial resources, environmental factors, cultural factors, knowledge, entrepreneurial incentive system, entrepreneurial capacity building and empowerment, general restrictive conditions, social networks, fundamental infrastructures, entrepreneurial alertness, general facilitating conditions, strategic factors, and driving forces, in order from highest to lowest impact, have taken the most to the least amount of effect. Therefore, emphasis must be placed on reforming laws and regulations to improve and create entrepreneurship opportunities.
