Urbanization and art in Khorasan during the Abbasid era

Abstract

The third and fourth centuries AH are known as the golden age of Islamic civilization. During this period, there were significant developments in the field of culture and art and in connection with the improvement of the level of social and economic life of the Islamic society. The growth of urbanization and the concentration of wealth and power in the cities of regions such as Greater Khorasan caused the tendency to arrange and love art; To the extent that he took luxury to extremes in the Islamic society.
This research, using the descriptive-analytical method and based on the use of library resources, with the aim of measuring the impact of urbanization on cultural development, aims to answer the question, "What were the results of the expansion of urban life in Khorasan during the Abbasid era?" Has there been an area for the growth of culture and art? The results of the studies indicate that reasons such as: the continuation of political stability, the gradual increase of migrations, the accumulation of wealth and power, as well as the change in lifestyle due to the growth of urbanization led to the growth of the scope of science and culture, combined creative art or Iranian-Islamic art. should be taken into consideration of the Muslim society of Iran and its manifestations should be used in the field of social beautification and fine artistic productions. This was more tangible in Great Khorasan due to the cultural background.
