Abstract

"Self-knowledge" as one of the most important human beings concerns means to know oneself and to find knowledge about talents and potential aspects within oneself and creating growth grounds for their realization. One of the main questions in this article is whether self-knowledge depends on other knowledge, including God or the world of creation? In the other words, does man have to know the world and other beings in order to know himself? Allameh Tabatabai (RA) and Imam Khomeini (RA) as two prominent sages and mystics in the contemporary era believe that man is the only being who has been able to include all the universe worlds by his existence scope; He called him the great world in terms of Almighty manifestation and called him the smallest world in terms of his materiality. Accordingly, man can achieve knowledge of other worlds and beings by knowing himself; So, in this case, it can be stated that another cognition depends on self-knowledge.
