Abstract
Geographical places and spaces determine the physical and structural framework of creativity in cities. Accordingly, there exists a bilateral cause-and-effect relationship between urban spaces and creativity. Investigating the issues and challenges of Tehran is essential for achieving sustainable urban development and creating a platform for realizing a creative city in this metropolis. Creative strategies for achieving sustainable urban development in Tehran involve employing innovative methods and models in socio-cultural, economic, environmental, and construction-related aspects that influence sustainable development, as well as assessing the city's potential to move toward becoming a sustainable creative city by identifying urban sustainable development indicators and components.
This applied and developmental research adopts a descriptive-analytical method, utilizing library and documentary research, surveys, and data collection through documentary studies, statistics, and required information. The collected data is analyzed using correlation analysis, AHP, and SWOT techniques, categorized by different communities, including: 1. citizens; 2. experts and specialists; and 3. all stakeholders, managers, and officials. Questionnaires are employed to gather insights. Thus, the research aims to provide a strategic analysis and identify the strategic shortcomings in Tehran that hinder the utilization of creativity.
Research Objectives:

To determine the impact of creative city models on the sustainable development of Tehran.

To identify the strengths and weaknesses of Tehran's sustainable development from the perspective of a creative city.

Research Questions:

How do creative city models influence the sustainable development of Tehran?

What are the strengths and weaknesses of Tehran's sustainable development from the perspective of a creative city?
