Analyzing the Components of the Image and their Role in Beautifying the Illustrations of the Qur'anic surahs (with an Emphasis on the Contemporary Calligraphy of Surah Qalam)

Abstract

The Holy Quran has beautiful and magnificent structures that have aroused everyone's admiration, and one of these structures is the unique imagery that appears throughout the Quran. These spectacular images have appeared in the Qur'an with the help of various elements, among which we can mention elements such as recognition, visualization, imagination, simile, etc. In fact, with the help of these elements, the Qur'an has created quite magnificent scenes and depicted the miracles and greatness of the words of revelation in them. In this descriptive-analytical research, Baroosh has investigated these elements and their role in inducing Quranic concepts, and Surah Qalam has been examined as an example. The purpose of this research is to find out elements have in creating beautiful Quranic scenes and inducing its themes by examining visual elements. According to the obtained results, each of these elements has been able to have a significant impact in expressing and inducing concepts by creating beautiful images.

Research aims:
1. Examining the components and image elements such as simile, recognition, etc., what role do they play in inducing Quranic concepts and themes in Surah Qalam.
2. Examining the elements of the image in the creation of beautiful Quranic scenes, a more prominent role.

Research questions:
1- What role do visual components and elements such as simile, recognition, etc. have in inducing Quranic concepts and themes in Surah Qalam?
2. Which of the components of the image played a more effective role in creating beautiful Quranic scenes?
