Abstract
This study aims to identify cognitive errors in Khaghani's Divan based on Aaron T. Beck's theory, determine the most frequent cognitive distortions, and compare these features with the element of imagination in Mongol-era miniature painting. The statistical population and research scope include Khaghani's Divan, while the methodology is analytical-descriptive, employing content analysis through a documentary-library approach. Data collection tools consisted of library resources and note-taking, and the analysis was conducted qualitatively.
The findings reveal various cognitive errors in Khaghani's poetry, with catastrophizing being the most prevalent distortion. Other notable errors include overgeneralization, negative filtering, and labeling. Additionally, errors such as fortune-telling, personalization, blaming, and black-and-white thinking are significantly present. Conversely, errors like mind-reading and judgmental thinking are rare, and the should-thinking error is virtually absent—possibly linked to the poet's emotional perspective that emphasizes accepting situations as they are. In Mongol-era miniatures, the element of imagination reflects a departure from realism, closely tied to the emotions of the painters.
Research Objectives:

To identify cognitive errors in Khaghani's Divan based on Aaron T. Beck's theory.
To examine the types of cognitive errors in Khaghani's poetry and compare them with imagination in Mongol miniature painting.

Research Questions:

How can cognitive errors in Khaghani's Divan be identified based on Aaron T. Beck's theory?
What is the relationship between cognitive errors in Khaghani's poetry and the element of imagination in Mongol-era miniature painting?
