Abstract
This study examines the intricate interplay between architecture and semiotics in Lalehzar's mid-rise buildings, demonstrating how physical forms embody cultural and historical narratives. It emphasizes architecture's role as both a medium of cultural expression and a repository of social values and collective memory. The research aims to conduct a thorough analysis of semantic structures within Lalehzar's architectural physicality, seeking to understand how these structures relate to their cultural and historical contexts—thereby contributing to broader architectural and urban studies. Employing a comprehensive mixed-methods approach, the study integrates qualitative and quantitative research. Data collection includes surveys, interviews, and field observations, supplemented by historical documents and expert analyses. Methodologically, it investigates the semantic values embedded in architecture, focusing on elements such as balance, proportion, and continuity. Findings reveal a harmonious integration of modern and traditional designs in Lalehzar's architecture, characterized by equilibrium, proportionality, and temporal coherence. The study also identifies key semantic elements—such as skylines and entryways—that uniquely contribute to Lalehzar Street's architectural identity. In summary, this research provides a nuanced understanding of Lalehzar's semantic architecture, illuminating the rich tapestry of meanings conveyed by its historic structures. Such insights are vital for cultural heritage preservation and for guiding future architectural interventions in similar historic contexts.
Research Objectives:

To analyze the semantic structures embedded in the physical dimensions of Lalehzar’s architecture.
To explore the relationship between Lalehzar’s architecture and its cultural-historical context.

Research Questions:

How are semantic structures manifested in the physical dimensions of Lalehzar’s architecture?
What connections exist between Lalehzar’s architecture and its cultural-historical backdrop?
