Abstract
Given the extensive influence of social media networks in contemporary societies and their dynamic and fluid nature, it is essential to study their functions, particularly their role in the development of culture and art, in the era of globalization. This study adopts a mixed descriptive-analytical approach and employs the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) mathematical technique to investigate this phenomenon. By reviewing relevant literature, the research identifies key factors contributing to the development of Islamic arts in Iran. Through pairwise comparisons, the importance of each factor was determined via a field study. The findings reveal 45 significant components grouped into eight critical categories: individual, economic, structural and physical, cultural, socio-environmental, technological, security and legal, and governmental support. Expert analysis highlights that individual, economic, and technological factors are the most critical for advancing Islamic arts. Focusing on these factors can facilitate and accelerate achieving cultural and artistic development goals through popular social media platforms.
