Today, artificial intelligence can serve as an effective tool in the teaching and learning of art. In terms of nature, the present research is applied and has utilized a descriptive-analytical method to achieve its objectives. The research population was selected in two stages using purposive and convenience sampling methods. The first group, for conducting interviews and identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT), included 18 university professors in various fields of art and artificial intelligence, selected through purposive and snowball sampling until theoretical saturation was reached with the intended individuals. The second group included 136 experts and activists in this field, selected via convenience sampling to assign weights to each of the SWOT points. Data collection tools in this research included semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. The reliability of the questionnaire, calculated using Cronbach's alpha, was 0.88, indicating high reliability of the questionnaire. For data analysis, a one-sample t-test and a binomial test were used to determine the status of the items, and the SWOT method was used to analyze the current situation and formulate strategies. Subsequently, to determine the strategic position of artificial intelligence in art teaching and learning, an Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) matrix and an External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrix were formed. The total score of the IFE matrix was 2.36, and the final score of the EFE matrix was 2.53. The results indicated that the strategic position of artificial intelligence in art teaching and learning is in the WO (Conservative Strategy) quadrant.
